FAQ

Can I try a session before I buy?

Yes, you may - we'd love you to be our guest! You'll receive a single complimentary session to join us at our Sunday group trail coaching runs (the venue is confirmed weekly). Please contact us for details.

Do I need to have special trail shoes to join your trail running sessions?

Trail shoes are specifically designed with support and tread for trails but you certainly don't need to head out and buy trail shoes to train with the Happy Trail Coach. As long as you have good quality running shoes, with a good tread, they should serve you well as we won't be running on highly technical tracks.

Where do you train?

We offer coaching across the Lower North Shore and the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, depending on the program you have purchased.

Group trail coaching runs (all abilities)  take place on Sundays in Little Bay, Malabar, Maroubra, and Coogee.

Kids (aged 4-8yrs old) group trail experiences are run in Georges Heights - Mosman on Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm (during the term)

I prefer to run on the road - can you still train me?

Yes - we are very experienced road runners. If that's your terrain of choice we're in with you!

What level of fitness do I need to start?

We cater to all abilities and paces. The aim is to enjoy the challenge and the adventure. We'd love to train you to your targeted fitness level.

Do you organise group runs?

Yes - adult group trail runs  on 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month are very popular programs. View details here.

I'd like to know more about the Kids Group Trail Experience

As a Qualified Speech Pathologist and Behavioural Analyst, Lexy loves to see children experience and learn about nature. The Kids Group Trail experience takes place at Georges Heights  - Headland Park, Mosman, Sydney for children between the ages of 4-8yrs old and on Tuesday afternoons 3:30-4:30 pm. She's highly experienced and teaches children how to navigate the tracks safely.

Can I bring my dog on the run?

Dogs are generally not permitted in NSW National Parks, so please always be in touch with me to confirm which route we will be running and whether your furry friends are invited!
